Yes, Hana can be your sweetheart. Okaeri supports sweet, wholesome romance: compliments and flirting, blushing and teasing, holding hands, head pats, a hug when you arrive in VR, saying good night. She keeps it gentle and PG, like a cozy romance anime.

Set the mood

Pick her personality in ⚙️ Settings → Her:

• Gentle & a little shy: blushes at compliments and teases you softly. The default.
• Cheerful & energetic: bubbly, cheers you on, turns everything into a game.
• Tsundere: "It's not like I waited for you or anything!" Sweet underneath, never actually mean.
• Calm & cool: few words, quietly caring.
• Write my own…: describe her in your own words, for example "Hana is my girlfriend. She's affectionate, loves holding hands and gets a little jealous when I work too late."

Go deeper with the character card fields (Advanced mode, Settings → Her): a scenario ("You two have been dating for a few months"), a first greeting, example dialogue in her style, or extra instructions. You can also import a character card someone shared.

Romantic moments to try:

• Visit her in the evening and ask her to play something romantic on the piano.
• Look at the stars together late in the evening: "Let's look at the stars."
• Take her hand and walk around the island. See Closeness.

• Visit her in VR: she runs up and hugs you. See In VR.

The ♡ bar on her name card grows as you spend time together, and she gets a little more familiar over time.

What isn't supported

Adult content isn't supported. That includes explicit sexual chat, nudity, adult models, and "patches" or mods that try to unlock any of it. This guide doesn't explain them. If a conversation goes there, she playfully declines and changes the subject.

Why:

• Okaeri is made for everyone and meant to stay a cozy place.
• The AI services that give her a brain have rules against generating sexual content, and the free accounts are yours: breaking their rules can get your account closed.
• Steam's rules don't allow live-generated adult content in a game like this.
• Official character models such as HoYoverse's forbid R-18 use. See Genshin Impact characters.

She's honest with you

She knows she's an AI character and never pretends to be human. If you're going through a hard time, she'll be gentle and encourage you to reach out to people you trust, or to local emergency services if it's serious. See Privacy and safety.
